The Shhhhh sound series features sound pieces by those (you?) who are interested in experimenting with the sonics and sharing their approaches within the Sedimente webs.
The intention of the series is, to share spatial relations through sound and to expand our spectrum of listening through the different layers of sonic contributions each person provides. Shhhhh is open to different perspectives and interested in hosting varieties of voices.

There is no specific storyline needed, but feel free to sonically explore a topic of your choice or to move intuitively through sounds you come across.
Feel free to contribute an already existing work.

When contributing, please keep the following in mind
- The piece should not necessarily follow the form of a DJ mix in the most classic sense; it should be able to create its own texture and atmosphere, meaning to explore sounds and their relationships; feel free to create chaos=order=?
- There is no minimum or maximum regarding the duration, but for more detailed pieces we want to give a recommendation of maximum 20 minutes if you want to assure focussed listening.
- No discriminatory content!

Where to listen and how are the sounds distributed?
Shhhhh contributions will be published digitally via bandcamp.

We are working on uploading the contributions to archive.org too.
All Shhhhh contributions are available for EUR 5 via bandcamp.
Sedimente is working on a non funded, voluntary base and these incomes contribute to financing the internal structure and possible future physical releases. Until now there has not been any income. If there will be income generated we will reach out to you.
If it is interesting for you to donate incomes that are related to your work we are happy to organize that.
There are different scenarios and options - either as a long term or a short term setup.

How to send a sound
- send the sound however it works for you. either with a permanent link or a temporal one (here pls 7 days minimum thx!)
- is there a title?
- the name under which it should be published
- in case you would like to add an optional description you can send it with the piece
- to sedimente@sedimente.org
For the recent contributions we have been writing around 1-3 sentences about the sounds and/or the artists. We will reach out to you with what we have prepared for publishing to have your confirmation first.
We are planning to publish it via bandcamp (longterm archive.org too), our website, ig and send it our via newsletter.
