The Sedimente Sound Series SHHHHH will feature sound pieces by those who (you?) are interested in experimenting with audio.
The intention of the series is, to create relation with the sonic; to improve listening skills, and to expand our spectrum of listening through the different layers of sonic contributions each person provides. SHHHHH is open to different perspectives and interested in hosting varieties of voices.
When contributing, please keep the following in mind:
- The piece should not necessarily follow the form of a DJ mix in the most classic sense; it should be able to create its own texture and atmosphere, meaning to explore sounds and their relationships.
- The time limit is set to 20 minutes - there is no minimum, but feel free to reach out if your piece is longer. (With the 20-minute limit, focused listening is more likely to be ensured - that’s why...)
- No discriminatory content!
There is no specific storyline needed, but feel free to sonically explore a topic of your choice or to move intuitively through sounds you come across.
The SHHHHH series contributions were planned to be published via archive.org, but the platform was down when writing this text. Alternatives will be found in case. If you have any recommendation for alternate platforms it would be great if you want to share them!
